Become a Modern Day Alchemist

An Alchemist, in ancient times, was a philosopher and metaphysical chemist that sought to transform common metals into gold or create the elusive elixir of life.

While I have yet to transmute any common metals into actual gold or brew the elixir of life, I do consider myself a modern day alchemist and am becoming quite competent in transforming my world.

Here’s a simplified version of The Principles of Modern Day Alchemy.

1. Every thing in the universe contains its opposite, e.g., light and dark or love and hate.

2. The essence of Everything is contained in every Thing, as the poet Blake described seeing “a world in a grain of sand.”

3. You have the ability to choose what you wish to focus on.

4. What you choose to focus on, in your mind, will expand.

5. Once your level of internal focus reaches a critical mass, you will begin to look for and see evidence of it in your outer world.

6. Knowing every thing contains the essence of everything, you will now be able to see that which you are looking for in that which you are looking at.

“The modern day alchemist does not change anything into gold, but rather, sees the gold which is contained in all things.” – gruberism

May you harness these principles to transform your life!

How to get what you want faster! Newton’s Second Law

How to get what you want faster!

Apply Newton’s Second Law!

Newton’s Second Law states that the acceleration of an object, is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.

In iwicty English, it states that the increase in speed (A) toward what you want in life is equal to the power of your positive thoughts (P) over your negative thoughts (N).

For those of you that like formulas, it would read like this: A = P/N

As you can see, to get your life moving in the right direction. You must create and apply a positive thinking force that is greater than you negative thinking force.

The greater the positive force over the negative force, the faster you will arrive at your heart’s desire.

So, fill your heart, mind and soul with what you truly want! Imagine it in great detail.

Feel the wonderful feelings you associate with having what it is you want.

Know that you are moving toward your goal with each positive thought.

Write down in detail what you want and all the wonderful things that can come from moving toward and possessing that which you want in your life.

Go back to your journal and read all the positive things you’ve written and add too it when you feel the need.

Dominate your world with positive thoughts, words and deeds and nothing will stop you.

An IWICTY may help some of you release those things that you just can’t shake. By facing it and intentionally sending it away from you, you may release the power it has had over you so you can begin again in the present moment.

Newton’s Third Law can change your life!

Newton’s Third Law states – for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Imagine you are a track and field athlete, a sprinter, getting down in a starting position. You hear the starter say, “On your mark, get set and go!” The gun goes off and you push off the starting blocks! As you push off on the blocks, the blocks push back at you at an equal force. Those blocks double your pushing power. Those blocks do half the work. You leave those blocks twice as fast as your effort.

If you want to move forward in your life, push away from where you are and move toward where you want to be. And according to Newton’s Third Law, that which you push away from will actually push back at you in direct proportion. In essencse you only have to apply half the work.

This works with everything in the universe – objects, emotions, thoughts and feelings. So if you wish to have, feel, create, or do something, I want you to know that there is a law out there that will meet you half way and double your effort.

Simply push away from what you do not want and move toward what you do want and the universe will respond accordingly.

You are a Force for Change! – Newton’s First Law

Do you ever feel like your living the same day over and over again?

You may be experiencing Newton’s First Law, which states –
“An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an equal or greater force.”

So, if you sit around and do nothing, Newton’s law states that you will continue to sit around and do nothing. And by doing nothing you will continue to do more of that, nothing.

The flip side of Newton’s first law states if you are out there in the world doing something, Newton’s law states that you will continue to do that thing.

If you love how your life’s going, keep doing what your doing!

But, if what your doing isn’t quite producing the result you want?
Apply the second part of Newton’s first law, which states that you will keep doing what you are doing unless you are ACTED UPON BY AN EQUAL OR GREATER FORCE.

The great news about that is that you are your own greatest force.

That’s right! You can decide to change what you are doing, enough to get a different result. Then, ask yourself. Do I want this result in my life? If not, change your action again and again, until that which you want, begins to show up in your life.

If you doubt the power of your own force, you can always enlist the force of friends, family and loved ones. Their support of your desire to change can have a huge effect on you.

Good Vibrations – The Doppler Effect and You

Have you ever been to a race track and noticed that the sound of the cars coming your way slowly builds and builds, reaching an incredibly loud sound only to fall off dramatically as they leave.

In fact, the sound of the car approaching you is louder to you than the sound of the car leaving you at equal distances from you.

So how does this happen? The sound made by the car is sent out like a ripple in the water, equal in all directions. But when the car moves forward, the sound waves from the car get closer to each other in the direction of the motion, increasing their frequency and sound, while the waves behind the object get farther and farther apart, decreasing their frequency and sound sharply.

This effect is known as the Doppler effect.

So what does this have to do with me?

1) We all have vibrations we emit out into the universe.
2) Our vibrations are be felt by others.
3) Our vibrations can be positive or negative.
4) These vibrations can determine how others perceive us, receive us, and regard us.

So if you are emitting negative vibrations, you will be perceived as negative, and more so as you approach them.

If you emit positive vibrations, you will perceived by others as very positive. You would be received warmly by all and missed by all as your positive vibrations fell off as you left.

So know that –

A positive vibration, no matter how small, can build into an enormous positve expression.

A negative vibration, no matter how small, can build into an enormous negative expression.

Imagine what the smallest of positive vibrations could do for you and others.

The smallest of thoughts/vibrations you create can effect the way people perceive you, receive you and in the end regard you.
